Reviews and Ratings <br />
I had high hopes for this resort, especially with its promise of access to the Blue Lagoon and a private beach. While the rooms were clean and well-kept, the path to the lagoon was dangerously steep, which hindered our intended relaxation. The staff were genuinely nice and tried to be helpful, but the lack of accessibility to key areas significantly lowered my overall experience.
Our stay at the resort had its ups and downs. While the customer service was exceptional and the setting by the Blue Lagoon is stunning, we faced significant issues like a lack of essential amenities and a very slippery path to the beach. Overall, it was a mixed experience, and I wouldn't say it was the best value for the price we paid.
I had a wonderful stay at Tropical Lagoon Resort! The property is lovely, with easy access to the beautiful Blue Lagoon beach, which was a highlight for me. The staff were attentive and friendly, making us feel right at home. However, the steep path to the lagoon can be challenging for those with mobility issues, and I did experience some minor mustiness in the room. Overall, it was a great value for money and I can't wait to return.
I had a pleasant anniversary weekend at this hotel, which provided a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The beautiful surroundings and clean property were great for unwinding, despite some minor construction work around. The food was tasty, and the staff were very accommodating and pleasant, with standout service from Chef Jamie and beach attendant Steve. However, another stay highlighted serious service issues that ruined the experience, including unclean rooms, nonfunctional air conditioning, and unresponsive staff, making it a mixed bag overall.
The hotel offers beautiful rooms with great access to the Blue Lagoon, but the ongoing renovations and service issues detracted from our experience. The stunning location does come with steep steps, making it less accessible for those with mobility challenges. Overall, it has great potential, but improvements are definitely needed in management and dining.
